What is an online meeting?

We will use the Blackboard real-time chat for interactions between students and the instructor and also among students. There will be three such meetings (days and times to be announced). Online quizzes and exams may be given during the meetings. (Attendance of these meetings is optional. Questions about the course materials can be answered real time. The contents of the meetings will be posted online so that those who have missed can view them)

What software and hardware are required?

A Web browser (preferrably Internet Explorer 5.0 or later) is all you need. Java functions must be enabled.

What should I do if I miss an online meeting due to the inability to connect to the Internet?
