Who should take this course?

This course is primarily geared toward but certainly not restricted to the following:

  • College students interested in international trade and finance
  • Community college students seeking to earn credits prior to transfering to a 4-year college
  • Business professionals

How can I take tests?

A major portion of student evaluation will be done through projects and assignments. A mid-term exam and quizzes will be given through Web-based testing in Blackboard.

Will the credits count toward my graduation?

Yes! This is a regular credit bearing (3 credits) course. The credits can be transferred to 4-year colleges. The University will issue an official (free) transcript to colleges once the course is completed. Students from any of the 14 PA System of High Education universities will be able to tranfer the credits under the "visiting student" policy, which means that the course will count as if it was taken at home institution.

For Shippensburg students, this is one of the required courses for the International Studies Minor program. Of course, this can be an economics elective or a free elective course.
